Bilyana Asenova, born in Sofia in 1989, is one of the founders of unas studio. She completed her Master's degree in Architecture at DIA, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, where she received a DAAD scholarship. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture at the New Bulgarian University in her hometown of Sofia. After gaining experience at various architecture firms in Berlin, she co-founded UNAS Studio in 2020. Since 2021, she has been a studio master at the DIA and since 2024, she has been appointed Professor of Gebäudelehre und Entwerfen (Building Theory and Design). Since 2023, she is registered in the Berlin Chamber of Architects.
Ignacio Bóscolo, born in Buenos Aires 1985, is one of the three partners of UNAS studio since 2023. He studied architecture at FADU Universidad de Buenos Aires and at Dessau International Graduate School (DIA) thanks of a DAAD´s scholarship. He has worked as a Professor for the Chair of Prof. Alberto Varas and for the Chair of Tristan Dieguez (FADU-UBA) and as an assistant Professor for Prof. Joris Fach (DIA). His work experience extends over different architecture firms in Berlin, Boston and Buenos Aires, including zanderroth Architekten, Bundschuh Architekten, RDR architectes and Ezequiel Amado Cattaneo Arquitectos among others. He is registered in the Berlin Chamber of Architects.
Sasa Ciabatti, born in Trieste in 1988, is one of the founders of UNAS studio. He studied architecture at the University of Trieste and at the Dessau International Graduate School (DIA). After his studies he worked for several architecture firms in Berlin. His focus is on educational and cultural buildings as well as buildings in a historical context. In 2020 he led a studio master at the Dessau Institute of Architecture. He founded unas studio in 2021. He is registered in the Berlin Chamber of Architects.
